Once upon a time, a young 19 year old channeled a name... it was Sol Vida, or Sun Life. Sol Vida begged for attention and wanted the world to know it's energy and power because at its essence, it is filled with love and light. This energy begged to come out into the world and tell people about The Embodied Revolution--the fact that dance has the power to completely shift your energy, express your authentic self, and cultivate your truest life dreams.
With a mission to shift normalcy leading transformative, site-specific, dance and wellness experiences across the globe, Sol Vida Worldwide's mission is to connect, empower and transform people through the powers of dance, freedom and love has manifested as the Dances of The Embodied Revolution being an umbrella for all of our movement offerings under the sun.
Originally started in Denver, Colorado as a mobile dance company which later became a brick and mortar (Sol Vida Dance Studio + Community Space for the Arts) that birthed the beginning of The Sol Vida Movement through... Sol Vida Youth Tribe, Tribal Tots, Youth Tribe Company, Unwind and Grind and The Denver Dance Project, ... Sol Vida Worldwide found new life in 2017, when Founder/Director, April Axe' Charmaine channeled a new mission under the banner of Sol Vida and that became a calling to spread the power of Sol Vida far and wide.
Now, Sol Vida has become it's own community, style, energy of life, and a liberated dance movement that is ready to get you saying and believing, "I am a dancer!"
